In all seriousness, the story reveals federal investigation findings that almost a third of American Apparel’s L.A.-based factory workers were not authorized to work in the United States. Oops. Kind of makes that American Apparel takes a political stand on immigration reform ad campaign feel a little awkward, eh? (Thanks to Leah for the tip and the lede.)
