Sorry to play Captain Obvious with you, but we thought you might like to know that Disney CEO Bob Iger has officially announced that Marvel Studios is developing a sequel to last weekend’s box office (Hulk) smash, The Avengers . The superhero opus has raked in $700 million so far, and the news comes after the studio giant announced plans for new Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America installments. We probably won’t be seeing a new Avengers feature anytime soon, and there’s still a lot we don’t know. As joyous as it would be to see Joss Whedon return to the series, nothing’s been confirmed at this time, according to Deadline.
