This Monday was the Met Gala, which meant that all we talked about was the Met Gala. There was just so much to talk about. Models wore turbans! Marc Jacobs wore a dress. A sheer lace dress. With Pilgrim shoes. The Trumps finally revealed their alien faces. Solange Knowles looked fantastic! Cate Blanchett is rad, but also wore a bag of hair. Lana del Rey wore a cape, obviously. The cape-originator, Gwyneth Paltrow, wore this ungodly horror. We argued over Jessica Biel’s dress, but no one likes her bangs. Christina Ricci managed, almost, to pull off a butt bow three times the size of her body. Sarah Jessica Parker looked flat out terrible. Elizabeth Banks looked completely crackers. And Beyoncé… we don’t want to talk about it.
