1. Can we all agree that the most exciting part of last night’s MTV Movie Awards was the debut of this new footage from The Dark Knight Rises? We know that we’ve said it before, but seriously, July 3rd can’t get here soon enough!

2. Speaking of MTV, the network is shooting the pilot for a new weekly series that’s based on the Scream movies — a really strange move considering how poorly Scream 4 did in theaters, and the fact that most of their current viewers weren’t even alive when the first film was released. [via TVLine]

3. Despite earlier reports that the Wu-Tang Clan would be playing themselves in Joaquín Baca-Asay’s Ol’ Dirty Bastard biopic, Dirty White Boy, GZA‘s rep says that he will not be involved with the project. [via Pitchfork]

4. Lil Wayne made the executive decision to cancel Nicki Minaj’s appearance at Hot 97’s Summer Jam yesterday after one of the radio station’s morning show hosts referred to “Starships” as bullshit during his pre-show set. [via MTV]
