What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we decided that Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and Kenneth the Page deserve their own TV show. We permanently swore off of squid after reading this fun little fact. We wondered why Madonna needs 20 international phone lines in her dressing room when on tour. We watched an interesting clip from PBS’ Off Book web series about the evolution of 8-bit art and music. We wanted to buy our own H.P. Lovecraft doll. We were thrilled by a newly-announced policy change by the Obama Administration that will give illegal immigrants who were brought to the country as children work permits instead of deporting them (unfortunately, all anyone can talk about is the reporter who interrupted the President’s speech). We were kind of glad that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot has been put on hold indefinitely. We wished that these designer hostels had been around back in our backpacking days. We wanted to take a bite out of this Loki cupcake, but decided we’d pass on this edible ode to Marie Antoinette. We thought that building the world’s tallest skyscraper in just 90 days sounded like a really bad idea. And finally, we were impressed by this poem which manages to use all 100 Scrabble tiles — and it’s in iambic pentameter to boot!
