Gotta Dance follows the 13 original members of the team — who range in age from 59 to 83 — from the audition process through their first season performing in front of thousands of basketball fans. In addition to riveting rehearsal and on-court footage, the film gives screen time to each of the dancers’ daily lives, revealing the diverse reasons that brought them together, while redefining notions of growing older.
