Serenity Now: Brace Yourself for a Seinfeld Reunion

A Seinfeld reunion? GET OUT! First it was Saved by the Bell (minus Screech) on the cover of this week’s People, and now the AP is reporting that another reunion for a ’90s stalwart is in the works. The actors who played the show’s four principles will appear on the upcoming season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld alum Larry David’s HBO show. From the article:

It marks the first time in 11 years that Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jason Alexander and Michael Richards have appeared together on screen. David says the “Seinfeld” stars will appear in five “Curb” episodes during the season in a storyline about the cast reuniting. He says he worked closely with Seinfeld on the show-within-a-show script. He also says an actual “Seinfeld” reunion is unlikely.

Ah, that old show-within-a-show chestnut, we know it well. Just like George and Jerry’s ill-fated pilot! We’ll definitely be watching Curbed this season. And we’ll holding out hope for a Newman cameo.
