Interesting news for Saturday Night Live fans: In the wake of recent departures by Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg (and with Jason Sudeikis’ future plans still very up in the air), Splitsider is exclusively reporting that Abby Elliott has decided to leave the show after a less than memorable four-season run. She had originally hinted at a departure back in February after scoring the lead role in a new Fox comedy, but was later replaced by another actress, so it’s not entirely clear what she’ll do next. While for the most part, we weren’t huge fans of Elliott’s work (it seemed like the writers never really figured out how to best use her), we did enjoy a few her of celebrity impressions — specifically Rachel Maddow, Angelina Jolie, and of course, our absolute favorite, Zooey Deschanel.
