More Crazy Split Portraits of Family Members

Ready for your Friday to get a little more freaky? My Modern Met tipped us off that self-taught Canadian photographer Ulric Collette — whose fascinating series, Genetic Portraits, we previously covered — has been busy at work on a brand new round of franken-family photos. The concept behind the series is simple: Take two members of the same family and splice together an image of their faces. In some cases, the resulting person only looks a tiny bit off. But when you mash-up relatives of different genders who are at opposite ends of the age spectrum, then the “new addition” to the family can be downright frightening.
