In Italian photographer Graziano Panfili’s haunting series Alienation, which we spotted over at Faith Is Torment, average citizens of Earth stand expectant in their space suits, waiting in their yards, basements and bedrooms for an otherworldly experience. Or perhaps they’ve just arrived back from one. In these photos, the subjects seem like aliens, explorers, in their own homes, the nondescript space suits and lighting design casting a surreal glow over the scene.
