James Brolin! TVLine reports that multiple sources have confirmed the decision to cast the 72-year-old actor as Jeff Winger’s long-lost father. In a photo Joel McHale shared on Twitter, he and Mr. Barbara Streisand looked like they were having a grand old time together — and Brolin is 6’4″, which would explain why Jeff (who’s the same height) towers over his study group pals.
We’ve still got an entire month to go before Community debuts, in its new Friday night time slot of doom, on October 19th. And as broken up as we are about a Dan Harmon-less Greendale, it looks like at least someone over there (that is, whoever cast Brolin and scheduled a Hunger Games parody) is making good decisions.
