What’s On at Flavorpill: The Links That Made the Rounds in Our Office

Today at Flavorpill, we looked at haunting pictures of abandoned asylums. We found out a few reasons why people send bloggers hate mail. We downloaded the latest from Brooklyn electronic duo Silent Drape Runners. We read 13 inspiring stories about celebrities coming out. We discovered a porn site that will donate to charity based on the smut you watch. We loved David Hurn’s iconic images of Barbarella. We learned all about Lisa Frank and then obsessed over glittery unicorns for the rest of the day. We found out that the residents of J. R. R. Tolkien’s Middle Earth are mostly male. We watched Rick Springfield perform “Jessie’s Girl” at Penn Station. We liked Mr. Autumn better than Mr. Wintertime Asshole Man. We danced with DJ Pumpkin. And finally, we spotted the strangest real-life graves in the world. We heard from Yellowist Marcin Lodyga about the recent Rothko incident. We appreciated the “baby tree,” but it was nightmare fodder, regardless.
