If you’re a cinephile, then you already know that Alamo Drafthouse’s Mondo has quickly become to movie posters what the Criterion Collection is to DVDs. And now the company is planning to launch their biggest gallery show yet. A tribute to horror films released by Universal Studios back in the 1930s and ’40s (think classics Dracula, The Invisible Man, Frankenstein), Universal Monsters will feature new pieces by industry heavy-hitters like Drew Struzan, Mike Mitchell, and Laurent Durieux. Click through for a slideshow preview of the more than 60 original and screen-printed works that will be on display, and if you happen to be in Austin before November 10th, then swing by the Mondo Gallery to check out these fantastic movie monsters in person!
