Earlier this week we rounded up a slew of fantastic Halloween costumes inspired by famous works of art in a feature that proved to be extremely popular with many of our readers. No offense to the masterpieces, but we know that for some of you aesthetically-minded folks, there’s nothing more beautiful than a well-designed building. Intrigued by this photo of a group of famous architects dressed up as their own buildings that was snapped at the 1931 Beaux Arts Ball, we decided to go hunting for other costumes that pay homage to beloved landmarks. We think you’ll be surprised by how many we found — especially when you consider how awkward it would be to get around in most of these!
