2. ABC has purchased a new comedy called Garage Bar that will be written, directed, and executive produced by Zach Braff. The show, which centers on group of friends who “start to experience the ups and downs of fame when one of them becomes a pop star,” is said to combine “a workplace idea with the heart and humor of [his] 2004 feature Garden State.” [via Vulture]

3. If you enjoyed Rachel Getting Married, you’ll be glad to hear that Jonathan Demme’s next project has a similar vibe. A family dramedy, Old Fires “centers on a world-renowned architect who, after waking up from a coma in need to physical and mental rehabilitation, tries to repair his damaged relationship with his children and wife.” [via Collider]
