Downton Abbey might be the most-discussed British TV import in recent years, but for those of you who prefer juicy detective stories to soapy period drama, Luther is the best. That’s why we’re happy to report that BBC One has just started filming new installments of cop show, which will return with four new episodes some time next year. While they’re being a bit cagey about whether or not Alice will be around (the character may be getting her own spinoff), and we had hoped that this season would be a bit longer than the last, it’s kind of hard to complain about any news that means we get to see more of Idris Elba.
