“I have the impression that the whole world is interested in babies and dogs,” MUJI creative director Kenya Hara recently told Wallpaper Magazine. It was that kind of thinking that resulted in his new project Architecture for Dogs, an open-source network featuring downloadable blueprints for a series of 13 architectural structures that “alter the way that people interact with their pet.” The website — which features contributions from an impressive roster that includes Toyo Ito and Kayuzo Sajima of SANAA — officially launches on November 15th; completed versions of all of the structures will be displayed next month at Design Miami.
