Breathtaking Macro Photos of Dew-Covered Ladybugs

Share:

We’ve always thought of ladybugs as cute. But beautiful? Not so much. Then we spotted these macro photos of the dew-covered bugs captured by Alejandro Ferrer Ruiz over on Faith is Torment, and now we’re having a difficult time looking away. “As you can see I love the macro, but ladybugs are my passion,” he writes. “I find them very, very beautiful.” We tend to agree — especially after seeing his incredible shots of the spotted insects in extreme close-up. The colors are so vivid! Those tiny water droplets could be crystals! Like David Chambon’s work, these images will make you look at bugs in an entirely new way. Ain’t nature grand?
