From September 10-13th, thousands of Twitter users will unite for world domination — of the local charity scene. Twestival is twitterspeak for a Twitter-Festival, a series of benefit events run by noble members of the Twitter community. After the success of Twestival Global, 200+ globally-organized events that raised $250K in one day for Charity: Water, Twestival Local is being held to benefit charities closer to home. For those in the NYC area, your friends at Flavorpill are helping put together the York’s Twestival Local at the uber-swanky Brooklyn Bowl. Details after the jump.

What to Expect: Besides a night of classy bowling alongside a surprise cast of celebrity bowlers, musical guest Glass Candy will perform. In short, drinks, music, bowling, and tweets.
Where do I get tickets?: The early bird special is currently $20, also granting you access to Flavorpill’s High Roller after party. Be sure to get tickets early, as prices will eventually raise to $60. All proceeds will go to Campinteractive, a charity that “introduces the power of technology and the inspiration of the outdoors to underprivileged inner-city” through a year-round program.
