10 of the Most Disturbing Pop Culture Parodies We've Ever Seen (NSFW)

Share:

This week, we heard about a terrifying-sounding SpongeBob SquarePants porn parody entitled SpongeKnob SquareNuts, and we thought to ourselves: but why? Turns out, there are tons of incredibly disturbing pop culture parodies floating around the Internet, just waiting to ruin all of your childhood memories. In case that’s something you want, we’ve collected ten of the most upsetting here for you after the jump. But you’ve been warned. Not disturbing enough? Did we miss your favorite video? Let us know in the comments.

SpongeKnob SquareNuts

Look, turning a children’s TV show into pornography is bad enough, but when the protagonist is an underwater sea sponge and the unfortunate girl figure is supposedly a squirrel in a scuba suit? That’s just too upsetting. Not to mention the “SpongeKnob” costume they’ve got going on here, which looks like it already has some venereal diseases.

The Ugly Duckling Trailer

This is definitely the darkest parody of Duck Tales you will ever see — Donald Duck and his friends are reinvented as drug runners and lowlifes (Goofy is a faux-Rasta drug kingpin, you guys) in this Icelandic live-action mock trailer. You will never look at Scrooge McDuck the same way. At least they’re all wearing pants, though.

A Charlie Brown Christmas Reunion

While the connections between Charlie Brown and Louis C.K. aren’t imagined, we could have gone without seeing this depressing end-of-days vision of some of our childhood favorites. That said, at least Charlie finally tells Lucy what we’ve always been hoping he’d tell her one day.

California Boys

It’s not just that it’s old men in their underpants. It’s that it’s old men being as gross as they can possibly manage in their underpants. We’ve never appreciated Katy Perry more.

This Ain’t Curb Your Enthusiasm XXX

Of all the shows that were not calling out for a porn parody, Curb Your Enthusiasm was probably paramount. Unfortunately, Hustler Video has other ideas. No, Larry David, no!

Jerry Sandusky + Call Me Maybe

Um, yikes. This VICE-produced video, apparently the “pilot” of their new Current Laments series (though we haven’t seen a second installation) is a totally deranged parody of sensationalization in mainstream media, specifically the Jerry Sandusky trial. Or, as they explain, “Current Laments is the hammer that VICE is dropping on the whack-a-mole existence of the po-faced peddlers and pundits of the 24-hour news cycle.” All we know is that it makes us want to close our eyes for a long, long time.

Rugrats

The tagline for this murderous, psychotic take on the Rugrats franchise says it all: Your Childhood Memories Will Be Raped. We always knew that Anjelica was bad news. We just didn’t know how bad she really was.

Diet Book Author Advocates New ‘No Food Diet’

Both talk shows and diet books have inspired hundreds of parodies, but this one might just be the most upsetting. Hey, count on the folks at The Onion to make you laugh and also feel incredibly sick to your stomach (it’s a different kind of sick than you feel after eating the corner of your desk, though). The more times this woman says she’s happy, the sadder we feel.

Simpsons — The XXX Parody

Sigh. The tagline to this movie is “you’ve never seen sex this yellow,” which is frankly terrifying. Also, we do not want to see what happens to Ned Flanders in this horrible-looking thing. Do. Not.

Booboo Kills Yogi

Talk about an assassination of a childhood hero. Honestly, we could barely watch this one all the way through.
