Today at Flavorpill, we mourned the death of 50 things being killed by the internet. We took sides in some old-fashioned literary feuds (Team Tolstoy!). We read an impolite interview with Shel Silverstein, circa 1961. We daydreamed about passing GO! and collecting $200 in a new online version of Monopoly. We watched a sneak preview of the new season of Parks and Recreation. We wondered if talking into a candy-colored ring would look any less silly than rocking a Bluetooth headset. We were excited to find out what Jordan Roth means for the future of Broadway. We listened to a baby’s auto-tuned ABC’s. We feared this robotic bear. And finally, we freaked out over all of the Apple rumors. New iPods! iTunes upgrades! Who knows what tomorrow has in store…
