Today at Flavorpill, we enjoyed Kanye’s comparison of his current plight to that of Gaylord Focker. We were extremely excited to read that The Footnotes of Mad Men is becoming a book! We were glad to hear that Avenue Q has found a new NYC home Off Broadway. We listened to a track from Blakroc, the Black Keys’ new rap-rock project. We drooled over some vintage Scandinavian design logos. We learned how to win a Scrabble. And finally, we tried to decide what we’re most excited about on TV tonight: Oprah’s Whitney interview (which we DVR’ed) or the season premiere of Gossip Girl. Sorry Jay, we’re still not sure if we’ll be watching you yet.
