The AP reports that actor Patrick Swayze, who was publicly battling against pancreatic cancer since January 2008, has died at the age of 57. Most recently he starred as an undercover FBI agent on A&E’s The Beast while undergoing treatment.
The official statement from his publicist, Annett Wolf: “Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.”
