Our blogger friend Maria from A Time to Dance pointed out that the new music video for John Legend’s “Green Light,” which features Andre 3000, tips its hat to the master with a very Busby Berkeley-esque synchronized dance sequence in a martini glass at around 3:25.
Berkeley’s choreography has been referenced in everything from The Great Muppet Caper to The Big Lebowski, so even if you’re not a follower of Fosse, you’ll recognize his aesthetic immediately.
