Seamless Photos Uniting Aerial Landscapes with Fashion

Share:

Fashion brands like Marios have explored the fusion of landscape photography and design, but UK-based artist Joseph Ford, who we learned about on Colossal, takes the concept to the next level. A frequent traveler, Ford created a photo series for Paris streetwear mag WAD and German style supplement Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin that seamlessly unites his own gorgeous aerial photos with close-up shots of clothing. It’s hard to believe that these organic forms could so beautifully match something manufactured, but the textures, colors, and patterns are a surprising fit. See plaids, zippers, and knitwear transformed into sandy hills, roadways, and colorful housing developments in our gallery.
