Stark, Beautiful Images of Nude Dancers in the Swedish Wilderness

This series of images by London-based Swedish photographer Bertil Nilsson (which we spotted via Featureshoot) is called Naturally, and it’s immediately apparent why — the photos capture dancers and circus performers, as naked as they day they were born, performing in the surrounds of Sweden’s beautiful wilderness. The images work as studies of both human bodies and the environments in which they exist — the vivid paint in which Nilsson covers his models serves both to emphasize the contrast between the two and to enhance the dancers’ dynamic poses.
