We discovered just how much Arcade Fire’s Funeral had to do with Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are. We celebrated Madonna. We agreed with this list of music’s greatest mentors — well, everyone except for Pete Wentz. We didn’t realize that a-ha was still together, but then we found out that they’re breaking up. And finally, like everyone else, we waited for more news about Falcon Heene, the six-year-old boy missing in Colorado.
CNN quotes Larimer County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Eloise Campanella: “At this point, we are thinking that he did not fall out of the balloon and is somewhere on the ground. The basket itself was not breached. It does not look like he fell out of it, but again, this is all conjecture.” We hope she’s right.
