The Black Flag logo parody is one of those memes that you’d think would be played out by now, almost four decades into the band’s existence. Somehow, though, somebody always figures out a way to keep it going, adding a new twist to the iconic punk logo designed by Raymond Pettibon.
A recent favorite (via writer Mairead Case) is the sort of thing that a punk-rock Liz Lemon might come up with while bored and trying to work, featuring Cathy and her trademark “Ack” in the place of “Black”:
“Ack Flag” got us wondering just how many more of these parodies actually exist. We’d already seen and enjoyed a few of the designs below, but others were new to us — and just too perfect not to share.
