We’ve all been there. You’re 10 years old and your coach — a failed athlete still angry at the world — has benched you, or worse, has shouted at you from the sideline for not being perfect. In the car after the game your Dad or Mom probably offered words of comfort (and words of profanity about the coach).Well, if your dad is P. Diddy, then he attacks your coach with a kettlebell. Yes, P. Diddy was arrested yesterday after allegedly attacking his son Justin’s UCLA football coach, Sal Alosi, with what the Oxford English Dictionary describes as “A large cast-iron ball-shaped weight with a single handle.” No one present was seriously injured.
TMZ report that Justin Combs, who plays defensive back for the team, had been getting a particularly hard time at the hands of Alosi. Taking matters in his own hands, Diddy went to speak with the coach in person, at around 12:30pm PT yesterday. Alosi refused to speak with him and that’s when things apparently took a kettlebell turn for the worse.
P. Diddy has since been released from custody after posting a $50,000 bail. He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon, one count of making terrorist threats and one count of battery.
