Parenthood—and, before that, Six Feet Under—actor Peter Krause is officially on to play the male lead of Shonda Rhimes’ latest addition to the ABC lineup, TV Line reports. Catch centers on a fraud investigator, played by Mireille Enos, who becomes a victim of fraud herself at the hands of her former fiancé. Krause is taking over the role of Enos’ onetime fiancé from NCIS’ Damon Dayoub.
The Catch, co-executive produced by Rhimes and based off a concept from English novelist Kate Atkinson and co-producer Helen Gregory, is set to debut at midseason, in early 2016. The pilot will be written by Hannibal alum Jennifer Schuur, who also boasts a production credit.
