Apart from Batman v. Superman, the world’s most famous furry will also be the focus of an upcoming Lego movie — titled, simply, The Lego Batman Movie. It’d already been reported that he’d be played by (the voice of) Will Arnett (who played the character in the first Lego Movie). But behind every great Lego Batman there’s a great Lego Robin, and it just so turns out that, like Arnett, Lego Robin is a Bluth: he’ll be voiced by Michael Cera.
The film will see much of the crew behind the first Lego Movie joining forces once again; Lego Batman‘s director is the former film’s animation supervisor, and producers Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are all returning. Seth Grahame-Smith, the author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies who’s seemingly also writing the Beetlejuice sequel, penned the script.
