Deion Sanders Channels Madonna and Beats Justin Bieber on ‘Lip Sync Battle’

Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Deion Sanders beat Justin Bieber on SPIKE’s Lip Sync Battle last night. Also known by his high school nickname “Prime Time,” Sanders took his chances competing against the worshipped pop-star, who according to Vulture was robbed of the win.

Bieber brought a clear sense of commitment to battling Sanders’ “Play That Funky Music” with Fergie’s emotional “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” but things really heated up in round two of the battle:

Sanders performed “Like A Virgin” while trying to channel pure innocence in a white tutu, accessorized with a few pearl necklaces. With a full head of blonde (wig)hair, the athlete confidently strutted the stage. Bieber, however, banked on a more sinister approach, choosing to lip sync Black Sabbath’s “Crazy Train.” His creepy wide-eyed expressions and long black leather jacket matched with dark locks and bejeweled fingers convincingly mimicked Ozzy Osbourne’s schtick – but maybe a heavier line of eye makeup (and less lackluster moves) would have brought him to victory. Sanders, however, is an expert in agility, making this achievement rightfully his.
