Supermodel Naomi Campbell brings her signature snarl to American Horror Story: Hotel, according to a report from TVLine. The English model recently played a fashion designer on Empire, and she will take on a similar role for the Ryan Murphy series. Campbell will star in multi-episode arc as “a fashion editor who pays the ultimate price for her critiques.” She starts shooting next week — and we can expect to see her in scenes with the previously announced Lady Gaga (AHS is the singer’s television debut), and American Horror Story alum Angela Bassett. The cast also includes AHS returners Lily Rabe as a serial killer, Matt Bomer, Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Chloe Sevigny, Wes Bentley, Evan Peters, and newbies Max Greenfield and Cheyenne Jackson. So far, we know that AHS: Hotel will be “much more horror-based.” In an interview Murphy explained: “It’s about a theme and an idea that’s very close to my heart that I’ve always wanted to do that’s a little bloodier and grislier I think than anything that we’ve done before; it’s straight horror this year.” The series is set to premier during this year’s Halloween season, in October.
