The Current ‘Daily Show’ Correspondents Will Remain Under Trevor Noah’s Reign

Comedy Central has confirmed that all of The Daily Show’s current correspondents will remain on the show alongside new host, Trevor Noah, upon his takeover of the show on Monday, September 28.

Surely this will help ease concerned Stewart diehards through the adjustment phase, though of course, some key members have already departed. Former correspondents (and married couple) Samantha Bee and Jason Jones retired from the show earlier this year to work on their forthcoming TBS projects; Bee’s new late night talk show is in progress and Jones will be starring in his and Bee’s comedy Wrecked, described as a “family vacation anthology series.”

Those who are staying put at The Daily Show include Kristen Schaal, Aasif Mandvi, Lewis Black, Jessica Williams, John Hodgman, Al Madriga, Jordan Klepper, and Hasan Minhaj.
