The Irish artist Ted Pim spent years traveling throughout Europe and the US to create a series of murals that remind us that the root of decadence is decay.According to his website, “Ted would spend days alone creating his artwork, armed with a mixture of paints, industrial torches and a camera.” Pim’s ghostly, Baroque-style paintings adorn black walls in abandoned spaces, their dramatic and devotional qualities both complementing and contrasting with their bleak surroundings.
