It may not be hard news, but it’s certainly less of a joke than last night’s Republican debate: Hillary Clinton has officially moved from “I know what Vine is!” levels of Internet literacy to “Look, I hang out with Kimye!” While Donald Trump was busy doubling down on his misogyny, Clinton was hanging out with Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Mr. Kim Kardashian, resulting in the following photo op:
The selfie heard ’round the world was taken at professional pop star handler Scooter Braun’s house in Los Angeles, where Braun was hosting a fundraiser for Clinton’s campaign. Depending on how you feel about Kardashian, this either symbolizes the dying gasps of American political dignity or the glorious democratization of fame and influence. Guess which side we’re on!
