Jon Stewart left The Daily Show and the circus of politics behind (for now at least) earlier this month, so it’s apt that his next gig will be in another circus setting, that of professional wrestling. USA Today reports that Stewart has been confirmed to host this Sunday’s premier WWE summer event, Summer Slam, from Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The show will be screened live at 7pm on WWE’s own network.
Stewart is long time wrestling fan and appeared on the Raw show earlier this year. Sunday’s main events include Jon Cena v. Seth Rollins and Brock Lesner v. The Undertaker.
