When it was revealed that President Obama was going to appear on an episode of Running Wild With Bear Grylls, it was hard not to speculate on what culinary horrors Bear might have in mind for the world’s most powerful man. In a sneak peak of the episode, shared by NBC today, his lunch with Grylls is unveiled, and it’s, wait for it…salmon. The clip shows Grylls reveal the salmon — half eaten by a bear — from within a rolled up piece of moss. Obama got off fairly light, when you consider Kate Hudson chowed down on live ants. The episode will air later in the year.

Although it’s not slated to hit screens until April 2016, Demolition — which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Naomi Watts —will premiere at this week’s Toronto International Film Festival. The early TIFF screening might have something to do with the film’s director, Jean-Marc Vallée (Dallas Buyers Club), and his meteoric rise…he also happens to be Canadian. And with a premiere comes a trailer, in which you can watch Gyllenhaal literally demolish the world around him during an identity crisis after his wife dies in a car accident.

Duran Duran. Remember them and their hair (their gorgeous hair)? Well, they’re back with a new album — their first since 2010’s All You Need Is Now. The new LP, titled Paper Gods, was produced by Nile Rodgers and Mark Ronson, and is available to stream now. Age depending, tonight you can close your eyes and listen to it whilst dreaming of stroking John Taylor’s hair, which he still has in abundance, praise be.
