Caitlyn Jenner’s E! reality series I am Cait has been renewed for a second season. The show, which ran for eight episodes between July and September, focused on the former olympian’s transition, seeing her seeking to connect with the transgender community, and underscoring ways to overturn the discrimination the community has had to endure.
According to a Buzzfeed report, the show may move up from its summer slot to mid-season, with Season2 premiering as early as March, 2016.
The renewal comes in the face of shrinking ratings. The premiere of I am Cait reportedly drew in 2.7 million live and same-day viewers, while the show’s finale brought 1.3 million.
Update: An E! spokesperson told Vulture that the renewal hasn’t been officially confirmed.
