Fetty Wap went to the hospital to treat injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Patterson, New Jersey on Saturday. Now, Patterson police have issued him three court summons related to the crash.
According to The New York Daily News , the rapper did not have a motorcycle license, registration, or insurance for the vehicle —reportedly his father’s— at the time of the accident, which occurred when Fetty Wap shifted lanes to pass a truck and collided with an oncoming car. He was taken to a local hospital and treated for “non-life-threatening” injuries. He is currently in stable condition, according to Vulture. He posted a short video to his fans on Instagram Sunday night:
The driver of the car Fetty Wap collided with was also treated at the hospital for injuries related to the accident.
There’s no word yet as to whether Fetty Wap’s injuries or the summons will affect his upcoming tour, which reportedly kicks off in New York on Tuesday.
