According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wanda Sykes will be heading to ABC for a recurring role on Blackish. This news comes a day after Showtime announced she would be appearing on the upcoming fifth season of House of Lies.

On Blackish, she will play Daphne Lido, the now ex-wife of Stevens and Lido’s founding partner, who, through her divorce settlement, receives half of the company where Anthony Anderson’s character, Dre, works. Daphne will start shaking things up midway through the current season, appearing in episodes that will air sometime in December.

On House of Lies, she is slated to appear in at least three episodes, playing the love interest in Jeremiah (played by Glynn Turman) and eventual confidante to Marty (played by Don Cheadle). The fifth season will premiere in early 2016.

Sykes has recently appeared in Amazon’s Alpha House, in a recurring role as Senator Rosalyn DuPeche.
