Tracy Morgan will return to televised comedy after more than a year when he hosts Saturday Night Live this weekend. (His actual return to comedy happened on Monday at the Comedy Cellar.) In NBC’s just-released promos for his SNL episode, Morgan shows he’s not afraid to make light of the brain injury he sustained during a car accident in June, 2014, which put him in a coma for eight days.
He also dusted off his old mantra for current SNL cast member Bobby Moynihan: “I’m going to get everyone in this building pregnant.”
Though Morgan’s return to SNL will be his first televised comedy performance since his accident, he has appeared on air a few times, including as a presenter at the Emmys last month and an interview on The Today Show .
