Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Tusk’ Gets Deluxe Reissue with Previously Unreleased Material

Rhino is giving the remaster treatment to Fleetwood Mac’s 1979 album, Tusk — the band’s 12th album, which cost over $1 million to produce, making it the most expensive rock album ever made at that time. A 2004 reissue offered fans some extras, but this super deluxe edition includes five CDs, two LPs, a DVD bundle, and bonus material galore. The package includes the disc “Alternate Tusk,” featuring the outtakes of the original songs — so if you want to listen to six or seven different versions of singles like “I Know I’m Not Wrong “ and “Tusk” to learn how it developed in the studio, you’re in luck. There are 22 unreleased live tracks, too. You can pre-order this bad boy now and catch a preview of the tracklist (with thanks to SPIN), below.
