True to its name, Rémy Soubanère‘s Colors of Night series shows the palette cities take on after dark. Taken in and around Paris and Amsterdam, the photos show sparsely populated cityscapes dominated by neon signs, lending hotels, restaurants, and even cotton candy stands an alien atmosphere separate from their daytime identities. Focusing on the interaction between lighting and environment, Soubanère’s photos reveal streets as beautiful as they are haunting.
