Charming Portraits Created from Lush Botanicals and Fresh Food

If you’re reading this, then you survived your post-Thanksgiving food coma. Brooklyn-based editorial and portrait photographer Emily Dryden has some creative ideas for the leftovers you’ll be feasting on for the next few days. Her Fresh Faces series, created with prop stylist and actress Zahydé Pietri, finds the faces in vibrant fruits, veggies, and botanicals. The whimsical, sculptural portraits prove that greens, beets, grapes, and flowers are full of personality. The photos are reminiscent of the ornamental Green Man artworks often found in architecture.
