Sunday Funday comes early this week: FXX’s critically acclaimed romantic comedy You’re the Worst is officially getting another season.
FX Networks announced the renewal alongside a multi-year development with creator Stephen Falk, who previously worked on Jenji Kohan projects such as Orange Is the New Black and Weeds, EW reports.
You’re the Worst‘s second season has earned acclaim from several critics—including ours!—for its portrayal of depression and its effect on the relationship between protagonists Jimmy (Chris Geere) and Gretchen (Aya Cash), despite earning a relatively modest audience of around a half million viewers per week.
