Recently, Entertainment Weekly shared first looks at tons of TV shows that are returning or beginning in 2016, and one of the most exciting on their list was The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, which will reemerge from its hibernation in the streaming mole-hole for its second season on Netflix.
The image they shared doesn’t reveal much, but it does show Ellie Kemper as Kimmy Schmidt in her one of her next occupations — holiday-store elf:
The photo also of course reveals Kimmy’s continued friendship with Tituss Burgess’ Titus Andromedon, and that she’ll continue to receive concealed affection and outward condescension from Jane Krakowski’s Jacqueline Voorhees.
Allegedly, Kimmy will be adding the elf gig and many other odd jobs to her résumé this season (alongside her babysitting gig for Voorhees). EW also noted that Kimmy’s romantic attention won’t be split in Season 2: “She’s not really ‘juggling’ this year,” said Kemper, and the magazine claims she’s “homing in on one beau” — presumably Dong. Popsugar alleges that both Anna Camp and Zosia Mamet are guest starring.
