With Zoolander 2 , Ben Stiller’s long-awaited and much-discussed sequel to his 2001 male model comedy, finally slated for a February release, the inevitable appreciations of the original are underway. Of course, Gallery 1988, our favorite pop culture-loving art gallery, is leading the way. This weekend, their West Gallery opened the Really, Really, Really Ridiculously Good Looking Art Show, with several of their favorite artists working up paintings, prints, and sculptures in tribute to Derek, Hansel, Mugatu, and Blue Steel. And we were lucky enough to get a look at some of the highlights.
