Billy Corgan’s Memoir ‘God is Everywhere, From Here to There’ is Already a Thousand Pages

Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan says he’s 200,000 words deep (a thousand pages) into writing his memoir. Tentatively titled God is Everywhere, From Here to There, Corgan has been working on the manuscript over the past year, but shows no signs of slowing down.

Corgan states that the book is “meant to get you out of what you think you know and take you hopefully in the very interpersonal experience which I experienced. Which, I would argue, is mythology. Most of what I have experienced in my life isn’t real.” He’s also changing the names of people in the book, but promises that we’ll still be able to understand who he’s talking about. “It’s not meant to be a clever legal device,” he told Chicago TV personality and author Jennifer Weigel. Corgan goes on to discuss his family, social media, his current projects, and more.
