Adam Driver is hosting Saturday Night Live this week, along with musical guest Chris Stapleton. So, just like every host before him (in recent, viral video history), Driver recorded a few quick takes for promos to be spread over the Internet, like a warm porridge of moderately funny comedy.
The bits take place alongside SNL superstar Kate McKinnon, as the two of them have lunch at a busy midtown diner. They wield lightsabers, pretend to have breakdowns, and just generally yuk it up.
Here’s hoping Driver can pull off more comedic range than he’s shown in Girls. Dude is always so serious! Here’s one idea for a sketch: Emo Kylo Ren.
